Born in Augusta, Georgia, Lived in Waynesboro, GA.  After finishing school I moved to California where I continued my education.  I went to work for the Garden Grove Police Department where I spent 20 years.  While at the Garden Grove Police Department, I worked as a patrolman, motor officer, burglary detective, school resource officer, specialize felony investigator and gang detective.  When I retired from the police department in California, I went into private practice as a private investigator.  I owned my own successful private investigations business for 14 years until I retired from that.  I moved back to Waynesboro and went to work for the Burke County Sheriff's Office.  When I was with the Sheriff's Office, I worked the jail and then became a road deputy.  I was promoted to Sergeant and assigned to the Criminal Investigation Division.  While with the Burke County Sheriff's Office, I was offered the position of Assistant Police Chief with the Waynesboro Police Department.  I have been in that position since serving proudly under Chief Alfonzo Williams.
