The Training Division's mission is to ensure that our men and women in blue, along with their civilian counterparts are trained to the highest possible educational and professional standards. The citizens of our community expect and deserve nothing less than an extremely professional police service. Our job is to ensure that our agency meets those expectations through the training of our personnel. In-service classes are conducted on a regular basis throughout the year as well as several advanced certification and specialization classes. All external training takes place at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center as scheduled through the Training Division.
